StandbyLiberty.Org is a conservative organization dedicated to helping preserve all of the liberties given to us by our founding fathers. No group is favored, no person is given a pass. We attempt to take the news of the day and provoke conversation and thought while at the same time working hard to guard our freedoms. Standbyliberty is pro-military, pro-gun, pro-life, pro-small business, pro-America and pro-democracy. We are anti-socialist, anti-communist, anti-tax and anti-liberal. We  try to provide you with the information you need to make informed decisions.

We have set up this site to better serve the conservative community on the web. We have attempted to give you access to information and different sites on topics covering everything from news and politics to gun ownership and your rights under the 2nd Amendment. We look at the main stream media to see which stories get swept under the rug. We have tried to round up the best news and information sites from around the world for you to use. On the front page you will find our blog-roll which we believe has some of the best sites on the web, bar none. Some are bigger than others but they all share the same values and have a desire to set their country back on the road toward, as a great man once said, “that shining city on the hill”.

We have a government out of control, spending money we do not have, they either print it or better yet, they borrow it from the Communist Chinese. They have proposed health care bills that would destroy the best health care system in the world, bar none. They want an energy bill that would raise taxes on every segment of the country. They cut our defense budget while funding social programs like handing out light bulbs, this is how they save energy I guess. The energy legislation, cap & trade, would destroy our economy while the rest of the world moves ahead full speed ahead, China and India included. We are being told that deficits now pushing $9 Trillion over 10 years mean nothing. We believe we need to be able to leave this country in better shape than when we came into this world. Our children do not deserve to be paying off Obama’s debt.

The main stream media has gone “MIA”. They have become nothing but a mouth piece for the Obama administration, press conferences are nothing more than free t.v. time for the White House. Our leaders find themselves unable to speak out when Iranians were crushed in the street, yet they support a socialist Chavez “wan-ta be” in Central America. Our president has told nations in the Middle East, we are not a “Christian” nation. I think the vast majority of Americans might disagree with his assertion. What we have done is make it more dangerous to be our friend than it is to be our enemy. North Korea testing nuclear weapons, the Iranian’s making it clear they want nuclear weapons and testing long range missiles and the Russian’s trying to get back on the worlds stage as a superpower again. Yet we do nothing except criticize our friends. Honor and integrity are not words this administration is familiar with. The world in which we live is a dangerous place, America needs to once again become the force for democracy that the world looks to for guidance and leadership.

What we see is an outright attack on our countries values and its very foundation. With your help and others like you, we will  be able to stop any further erosion of our rights, and then take our country back. We can pass it on to the next generation of Americans and know that they will have all the same opportunities we did. We look forward to talking to you in the future.
