I have heard about the Survival Seed Bank for some time now, I heard them on Beck’s show and have seen them on other sites. But before I wanted to have them here I wanted to learn a little about what they sell. After doing a little research I came away impressed with a few things most people don’t think about when buying seeds. You don’t have be a survivalist  to be impressed with what they have done here.

The Survival Seed Bank sells only non-hybrid seeds, so what does that mean to you? It means that you can replant your garden next year without buying new seeds. That is very important when looking into a crisis garden. These are all natural seeds which compared to hybrid’s that are sterile make them a good investment over time, regardless of how you use them. They are packaged and designed to be stored away for, get this, up to 20 years when kept at approximately 70 degrees.

The packages come with enough seeds to plant one full acre of vegetables including beans, lettuce, onions, peppers and eggplant. You get 22 varieties in all. Being able to store them for two decades plus the ability to use their seeds the next season alone make these seeds a pretty good deal. The rich of the world are storing away seeds for use later, you can be as well prepared as they are for a fraction of the cost. Who knows, they could be worth more than gold some day.
