I was thinking about this and the picture became pretty clear pretty fast. In the past 6 or 7 months we have been hit by 3 Yemen related terrorists including the Christmas bomber. So what exactly are we as a nation going to do about it? The first thing our fearless leader needs to do is to admit these are terrorist attacks and all 3 were successful.

Think back to May, we had two Army Recruiters shot, one killed in Arkansas. These men were shot by an Islamic terrorist who had contacts and who had been in Yemen. That’s one. Now fast forward to the Fort Hood shooting. We had another Islamic terrorist who was in contact with a radical cleric in Yemen, the same man had business cards with “soldier of Allah” printed on them, this from a US Army officer. This time we lost 13 people with 20 or so more wounded. Then we have the Christmas bomber, trained in Yemen by Al-Qaeda and possibly connected to the same radical Islamic terrorist cleric. And the truth is he did succeed, it was only the fact that the explosive caught on fire and did not detonate that saved almost 300 lives this time around.

So were does that leave us, between Barack and a hard place. It is obvious that Obama does not want to admit to the truth, we have had a large uptick in terrorist activity in the past year since he took office. Several large and complicated plots have been discovered inside the US, the three incidents I’m talking about Obama tried to play off, he could not even bring himself to use the word terrorist with the Fort Hood shooter. There is an old saying, “before you can fix your problem you need to admit you have one”.

The real problem for America is that this is not some kind of social counseling program for dis functional nit wits, this is real life with real dangers and real lives at stake. Obama has shown in the past as in his Afghanistan dithering, he has no regard for American lives. This man has no idea what to do to stop terrorism, he doesn’t even want to admit we a real terrorism problem. Understand that yes Janet Napolitano is totally over her head, and her simpleton report earlier shows how she does not understand the real terrorist threat. But also understand, she works for Obama and if he believed she was incompetent and could not do her job he would remove her. He hasn’t for one of two reasons. First, she has his support because he thinks she is doing a good job which would indicate he is truly clueless. Second, he gets rid of her and has to admit she failed and by extension so did he, also if she goes Obama by omission is admitting to a terrorism problem, an Islamic terrorism problem.

It is becoming apparent that Obama and the liberals are placing political survival over the well being of the nation. He insists on closing GITMO and now 58% of the people support water boarding the bomber, square that. One thing is for certain, the War on Terror continues, with or without Obama.
