Conservatives Defending Liberty

After getting all kinds of responses to posts I have written in the past, people don’t seem to understand or maybe they don’t want to understand what a collapse of society could be like or what it means. This is not some kind of a comet hitting the earth thing, its a little more realistic and very possible. What is a collapse and what would it look like?

Years back people worried about Y2K, all the computers were going to tank and you could not get any money from the bank, remember that? Didn’t happen and people moved on. This is not that kind of one time event, its a piling up of many small events. The dollar is collapsing, that is not disputable. Obama goes to China last week and gets a lecture on spending too much and their concern over his health care plans and the cost. They have an obvious interest since we have approximately $800 billion of their money. Obama himself said that if we can’t reduce the debt we run the risk of a double dip recession, seems like he’s a little late to that party. With our dollar sinking inflation will take hold, its only a matter of time. Have you noticed oil at over $80.00 a barrel again, yet demand is down. This is not the oil companies making money, this is the buying power of the dollar being down by 18% since Obama took office. What happens in time when the dollar continues to drop? Prices continue to rise is the answer. Without jobs people become more and more dependant on the government for income. Unemployment compensation has now been extended to almost 2 years in some states. While I understand people not being able to find jobs and needing help, where do we get the money as a nation to keep paying for this program? The answer seems to be print more, which will just cause the collapse of the dollar to be sooner and deeper. Now we have people begging for government run  health care, no jobs means no health insurance for most Americans. Obama would not want to waste a good crisis, right?

Now on top of all that add in the cost of the Obamacare program plus the Democrats want a second stimulus plan, this time calling it a jobs bill. The problem here is that they have been found to be giving billions of dollars to non existent congressional districts, the White House’s own web site has been found to be giving out false numbers on job creation by at least 80,000 jobs, that’s not a couple, that’s a bunch. Home foreclosures are at an all time high, home construction is at an all time low. This recession is different in that it is hitting the big money and economy driving parts of the country. Construction, the auto industry, retail and even the service sector. Travel is down, sales are down, new orders are down and the answer from the government is more taxes. Months ago many said Obama had no idea what he is doing, they may have been wrong. Many others called him a socialist, they were probably right.   People, normal people are starting to ask out loud if the Obama plan is to make people dependent on government. All I can say is what took you so long?
