The Undersecretary of State for Political Affairs was speaking to the Middle East Institute on Tuesday and stated that the United States recognizes the right of the Iranian regime to have nuclear power, that we do not seek regime change and wants talks with Iran.

William Burns went on to say “We have condemned terrorist attacks against Iran”. He further stated “We seek a relationship with the Islamic Republic of Iran based upon mutual interest and mutual respect”. What is so stunning about this is that the congress was briefed last week about Iran’s development work on an advanced nuclear warhead design. Let me say this again, the congress knows, the president knows, its a good bet that Hillary Clinton knows, so how can we still go in front of the world and announce we still want to talk and that the Iranians have a right to nuclear anything? This administration can’t even condemn terrorist acts being comitted at Fort Hood, yet we are worried about Iran’s terrorism problems?

The real truth here is that only a complete idiot would say we don’t want regime change. That is the only way to truly fix the Iranian problem for good. The radical Muslim regime is  hell bent on nuclear weapons, they will not change unless we stop them or they are no longer in power. Obama can’t even bring himself to say the words “Muslim terrorist” over the Fort Hood shootings, how can we expect him to start acting like an American president and take the role of commander in chief seriously? Or maybe I’m wrong, he may not know how. This is a dangerous game Obama is playing and he is not up to that level of challenge. The French and Germans are starting to get a little upset with the golden child over his handling of the Iranians, or should I say lack of handling of the Iranians.

Intelligence sources from around the world are pointing to the expanded Iranian missile capabilities, it is now clear that Obama does not either understand or does not care that much of Europe, Western Europe, not just Poland and the Czech Republic are now within range of Iranian missiles, nuclear capable missiles. That would be the idea behind the warhead design they were caught working on. Yes Israel is within range along with many others, but yet they are seen as the only real credible threat against Iran’s progress, did you ever ask yourself why? Obama is dithering again, simply because he has no idea what to do. He is afraid on several levels, politically included, and he can’t find a way to talk his way out of this situation. Obama is a street level politician, who spun the media and whipped up the young and minorities to get elected in a year when the media had created an anybody but a republican mood nationwide. Unfortunately for the nation, nice speeches, glowing media reviews, big rallies and epic campaign events won’t do a damn thing to impress the rest of the world.

Its time for Obama to step up to the job he applied for, like many, I don’t think he can.
