“The worst piece of legislation since FDR”, that’s what the Wall Street Journal thinks of the Nancy Pelosi/Democratic House Health Care Bill , I tend to agree. Pelosi sneaking out $1.2 Trillion bill, lets say that again, $1.2 Trillion bill that she can’t pay for. The bill they have proposed is almost 2000 pages. Why is it 2000 pages? Its simple, they can’t get the savings they claim they need to pay for the bill so they make it so complicated no one can make heads or tail of it.

$500 billion in Medicare cuts. It is absolutely in there. The end of private insurance by 2013 is in there, it becomes illegal to sell private insurance to anyone that wants a new policy. This means an end to private insurance in America. That is in there. $160 billion in anticipated revenues from fines and taxes on people who refused to participate in the plan. This is great, the liberals are already planning on money from people because they know people won’t comply. What kind of thing is that? Forcing states to buy into Medicaid to cover the uninsured, this will bankrupt the states as they have no money now. State governors are begging for federal money now, how can they be expected to pay half of the new jump in Medicaid? This bill raises the tax rate on higher income people to 45% just on the federal level, in high tax states the total will run to 62%. That is punitive in nature and just aimed at redistributing wealth. Answer this, when is the  last time you or anyone you know got a job from a poor person? Think about it. This bill includes public funds for abortions, this bill includes public funds for health care for illegals, these two things alone tell you that the writers of this bill do not care what America thinks on this issue. The latest poll I saw showed 82% were against giving illegals health care, yet its in there.

The Pelosi plan is to vote on this disaster this week, and get it passed to send it to Harry Reid in the Senate. Reid can not get 60 votes, he knows that. But he can get 51, he knows that as well. Harry Reid also knows he probably won’t win re-election next year so he has very little to loose. This bill needs to be killed one way or the other. Michele Bachmann, Mark Levin and Jon Voight are planning to meet at the capitol on Thursday, November 5th to have everyday Americans walk the halls of the House office buildings and find their representatives and tell them face to face what they think about the government takeover of almost 1/5 of the US economy. The only real question is do the congress people have enough nerve to face the people who sent them there. New polls out show a 42% support level with a 57% level of opposition. The left loves to show polls that twist the question to get the answer they want, Rasmussen has been polling this for months, his numbers don’t lie. Obama is holding at a 46% approval rating, he has a negative 13 in the approval rating index, these numbers are growing slowly over time. This poll is done on likely voters, not just adults who answer the phone.

Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi and Obama need a wake up call, we need to give it to them and stop this bill. How do you cut almost $500 billion from Medicare and say it won’t affect care? That is just a flat out fabrication of the biggest kind. In other words, anyone telling you that is a lair, period. The country is broke, we are printing money and owe the communist Chinese almost $800 billion. We are now running a deficit of $1.4 trillion, what the hell is this group of socialist idiots thinking? We don’t have the money, even though Obama is printing it. We need to stop the insanity before its too late. Get involved now.
